EFL (English as a Foreign Language) GCSE AS-Level A2-Level University Foundation Programme Pre-Masters Other courses (Photography, Dance, Drama, Languages: Spanish, Arabic) David Game College is noted for the unusually high standard of its teaching staff. All teachers are qualified with at least a Bachelors degree in their subject from a top-ranking UK university and almost all have achieved further qualifications such as a Masters or PhD. David Game College has a very good relationship with most UK universities and a history of working closely with them. Their staff are also closely-trained and well-experienced in helping students with their university applications, so you will be guided through the whole process, from choosing your course to getting the acceptance letter you will need for your visa. David Game College also holds a fair at least once a year, where you will have the opportunity to meet representatives from twenty hand-picked universities and discuss your application with them. David Game College is most famous for its pioneer University Foundation Programme (UFP), which was the UK’s first foundation course. The UFP at David Game College is one of the best-regarded foundation courses in the country and is accepted by almost every UK university. The course has the flexibility to cater for nearly all students – whether you want to study Computing at Imperial, Investment Banking at CASS Business School or Graphic Design at the University of the Arts, London – and as a result is very well thought of and recommended by almost 100% of the UK’s top educational institutions. Among those universities who recommend the UFP to potential students are King’s College, Bristol University and the London School of Pharmacy to name just three. The UFP course runs twice a year, so if you find that you have not taken a course in time for the start of the academic year in September, don’t panic – you will not lose the year. The UFP also starts in January, finishes at the beginning of August, so there will still be time for you to go to university in September. The UFP also offers a very academic English programme (Intensive Academic English) as a pre-sessional course for those students who wish to improve their language skills before entering the Foundation. This course consists of usually 19 hours per week of supervised study time and students are expected to do additional assignments and private study. David Game College has several branches across London and the UK, but the three main campuses are: David Game House, Notting Hill Gate (offers GCSE, AS-Level, A2-Level, UFP, Pre-Masters, EFL) In the heart of fashionable Notting Hill, in central London, this campus has the advantage of being very close to some of the best museums in the world, as well as affordable accommodation (the College offers host families and self-catering single or shared hostel rooms), cinemas, theatres and restaurants. Elm Gostar Kaveh strongly recommends David Game College as an excellent institution in which to begin your UK experience.
